Can ConvertCtrl convert faster then video playrate?

Is there an option to convert faster then the playrate, or is it depending on the machine where te application is running

If you mean that you want the conversion time to be faster that the playback time, this depends on different factors such as the machine specs, video compression, video size…etc
If you mean something else, please provide me with more details about what you are trying to do.

Yes that is what I mean. Do you know what the best machine setup is voor converting video files. Video file will be converted using different video compressions

If you convert from one format to another but using the same compression (trans-coding without re-compression), this is usually very fast.

If you are re-compressing the video, you will need a computer with a powerful CPU, enough RAM and high bus speed. I can't give you exact specifications because every video is different and every compressor is different. Most of our common LEADTOOLS video compressors make use of multiple cores or CPUs if they exist and perform compression using multiple threads.

In short, the faster the PC is, the faster the conversion will be.
