There is an example doing JPEG compression using the StartCompress ... methods.
Is there a benefit to this method of implementing compression over just setting the "QualityFactor" or "CmpQualityFactorPredefined" in RasterCodecs and just using the Save method?

Hello,
StartCompress() is mainly used when you need buffers and not JPEG image files.
If what you need is a JPEG file on disk (or even in a stream), it's much simpler to use RasterCodecs.Save().
Please note that both methods will use the quality factor you specify in CodecsJpegSaveOptions.QualityFactor, which is a number between 2 and 255.
The value is NOT related to CmpQualityFactorPredefined because that's for the CMP compression and not for JPEG.
