This demo shows a new class we have introduced to handle most of the leg work involved in loading a study from a PACS into the MedicalViewer control.

You create the client object, give it AE Title information, create a query object, and perform a query using the client.  Next pass the client object to the loader with a MedicalViewer.  The loader will then take care of loading the files and inserting them into the MedicalViewer object as well as setting up tags within the MedicalViewer's cells.

You can read more about each of these classes from our help file:

PacsRetrieveClient

MedicalViewerLoader:
http://www.leadtools.com/help/leadtools/v175/dh/ML/Leadtools.Medical.Workstation.Loader~Leadtools.Medical.Workstation.Loader.MedicalViewerLoader.html

We also have two other client classes you can use with the MedicalViewerLoader, the DbRetrieveClient and the DicomDirRetrieveClient.  The DbRetrieveClient class allows you to load a series from a database.  The DicomDirRetrieveClient class allows you to the series from DICOM DIR, putting it into the MedicalViewer.

Each of these classes are derived from the RetrieveClient class.  You can derive from this class and create you own implementation as well to simplify the loading process.

For a sample using the DicomDirRetrieveClient please click here.

The C# project was created in Visual Studio 2008.
