Hi there.

Was wondering if you could tell me if having two versions of the LEADTools Imaging ActiveX ocx's registered on the same machine and used by the same application would be problematic. We have a somewhat unique scenario where different parts of an application utilize different versions of the OCX.

Should this be possible or is this a definite 'No No'?

Registering both on the same PC should not be a problem. Multiple controls can be registered as long as their major version (12, 13, 14, etc.) are different.
However, you must NOT use the same LEADTOOLS control from two different versions in the same process.
This means a single EXE project can NOT use both of them.

You can, however, access each of the controls in a separate EXE without any problems.
Is there a specific reason for you to need these two controls?
