Hi,
I am trying to process very large images (>1GB compressed) on a 32bit processor.
I would like to split the image into 4 but need to do this without running out of memory. I would prefer a small a foot-print as possible.
How would I go about doing this?
Additionally the method:
LFile::FileConvert
Appears to be loading the image to convert it. Is there any way of converting the image without loading the whole image into memory.

Damian,
An easy approach is to load a quarter at a time using the LFile::LoadTile() function. This function works with most image formats supported by LEADTOOLS.
If your particular format does not support loading a tile, or if the quarter image is also too large to load as one chunk, there are other approaches that can be used.
