Has anyone successfully used the ltmm_capture control to create a Windows Media Audio file?

I can't seem to find enough detail in the help to get this setup.  If anyone has any sample code for loading the profile and creating WMA I would GREATLY appreciate it!

Thanks,
Tim

I second that.  I also really need to find out how to do that.  Also, what's up with the "certificate"?  Do I need to contact Microsoft somehow and get a certificate?  It didn't seem very clear on their site either.

Tim,

The multimedia COM help file has a sample that saves as a Windows Media
file with audio and video.  It can be modified to save only audio.  Just look for this topic in the help file:
"ltmmConvertCtrl.WMProfile Example for Visual Basic"

Jefferson:

You need to unlock the Windows Media 8 codec if you want to use a system ASF profile. Or

you create your own profile that uses Windows Media 9 codec (this codec does not require

unlocking).
