I am currently using Leadtools v13 OCX along with VB6. I have images that have both the Note and Black Rectangle annotations saved on a wang compatible TIFF. I would like to save a copy of the image without the black retangles while retaining the Note. Is there a way that I can accompllish this?

Hello,

You can try to do this by loading the TIFF image (with the Note and black rectangle annotations) and then delete the Black Rectangles.
Then save the Note annotations on a wang compatible TIFF.

Thanks,

Yes but how would I go about identifying and deleting the black rectangles? Is there some sample code that I could look at?

Hello,

You may try to delete the rectangle annotations as follows:
- Use the AnnEnumerate method to enumerate all annotation objects.
- handle the AnnEnumerate event. This event is fired for each annotation object.
- In the AnnEnumerate event, check the type of the annotation object by using the AnnGetType method. If the type of the annotation object is ANNOBJECT_RECT, delete it.

Thanks,
