I use Win32 Version of Example Annot32.exe

1. Open Image.
2. Put Text Annotation Object.
3. Click "Text Properties.." in Object's Context Menu.
4. Select "Text" Tab
5. We see "Rotation (degrees)" Disabled. OK.

Now open .NET version of Automation Demo (e.g. CSAutomationDemo.exe)

1. Open Image.
2. Put Text Annotation Object.
3. Save.
4. Open This Image (and new Annotatioin Object)
5. Click "Text Properties" (Object Context Menu) -> "Text" Tab.
6. Select "Rotate (degrees)" combo and select "90 (counter clockwise)". The Apply.
7. Save document.
8. Open document ->
Text Annotation Object is not rotated.

What shall I do ? Can I disable text rotation feature in text properties in .NET version?
Is it possible to send me a patch with working version of that feature.
Or is it a bug in Example, in that case I need correct set of steps to save rotated (through properties) text annotations.

P.S. LT version 14.5

First of all, the API has those options disabled because they are not available for Text Objects in that interface.  For more information on what is supported by which Annotations, read the API help file article "Types of Annotations".

As for the text not being rotated when you load it back up in the .NET interface,
I have reproduced this problem and have reported it with the incident number 6001IDT.  This incident will be reviewed and prioritized by our engineering department.  I will contact you when I get more information from our developers.

If you have any more questions, please let me know.

3. The name(s) of the developer(s) using the serial number
4. A link to this forum post
