firstPosition Property

Summary

A shortcut for finding the first position in TextItems.

Syntax
TypeScript
JavaScript
Object.defineProperty(DocumentViewerMultiLineTextItem.prototype, 'firstPosition',
	get: function()
)
firstPosition: DocumentViewerTextPosition; // read-only

Property Value

A DocumentViewerTextPosition representing the DocumentViewerTextItem.PageNumber and DocumentViewerTextItem.FirstCharacterIndex of the first entry in TextItems. May be null.

Remarks

FirstPosition is a get-only property for quickly finding the DocumentViewerTextPosition for the start of the first DocumentViewerTextItem in the TextItems array. This property assumes that the items are already sorted from low to high and only looks at the first item in the array. If the array is empty or null, FirstPosition is null.
