Describes the current VU meter power levels.

Member

Description

lLeft

Left channel power level. The range is -1000 to 0. Full power is 0, and -1000 is silence; the scale is logarithmic.

Divide by 100 to get equivalent decibel value (for example -1000 = -10 dB).

lRight

Right channel power level. The range is -1000 to 0. Full power is 0, and -1000 is silence; the scale is logarithmic.

Divide by 100 to get equivalent decibel value (for example -1000 = -10 dB).

HRESULT GetLevel(VUMETER_LEVEL* pLevel);

Parameters

pLevel

Pointer to a VUMETER_LEVEL structure that receives the current power levels.

Description

Used to query the current audio power levels.

Returns

S_OK if successful, an HRESULT error code otherwise.
