Gets a pointer to an IltmmMediaTypeDisp interface, which references information about the media type of the stream.

Parameter

Description

pStreamConfig

Pointer to an IltmmWMStreamConfig interface.

pVal

Pointer to a variable to be updated with a pointer to an IltmmMediaTypeDisp interface. This interface references information about the media type of the stream.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

Comments

If IltmmWMStreamConfig::GetMediaType succeeds, the caller must free the interface referenced by the pVal parameter by calling the interface's Release function.
