Assigns the multiplexer 's name.

Parameter

Description

pTargetFormat

Pointer to an IltmmTargetFormat interface.

newVal

String value containing the multiplexer's name.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

This function assigns the multiplexer. When the format is selected, all streams will be combined in this filter before being passed to the Sink.

Attempting to set this value on a ReadOnly item will result in an error.
