HRESULT IltmmPlay_get_Duration(pPlay, pDuration)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT get_Duration(pDuration)

IltmmPlay *pPlay;

pointer to an interface

double *pDuration;

total media length

Retrieves the duration of the media.

Parameter

Description

pDuration

Pointer to an IltmmPlay interface.

pVal

Pointer to a variable that receives the total media length, in seconds.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

This function retrieves the duration of the media at normal playback speed. Changing the playback rate does not affect the duration.
