Performs a writing test.

Parameter	Description
pDVDBurner	Pointer to an ILTDVDBurner interface.

Returns

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

No data is written to the disc during the test. This function might be used to verify the image to be burned.

The write tests are not supported for media of type DVD+RW. Do not call this function when ILTDVDBurner::get_DiscType indicates the current disk is of type LTDVDBurner_DiscType_DVDPLUSRW.
