Retrieves a value that indicates whether the server requires a user name and password to accept connections.

Parameter	Description
pNetSnk	Pointer to an ILMNetSnk interface.
newVal	Pointer to a variable to be updated with a value that indicates whether the server requires a user name and password to accept connections. Possible values are:
	Value	Description
	VARIANT_TRUE	The client needs to provide a user name and password to connect to the server.
	VARIANT_FALSE	Any client is allowed to connect to the server. This is the default value.

Returns

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.
