The Leadtools.Codecs namespaces contains classes with properties, methods and events for loading, saving and converting any type of image file and for getting information about loaded bitmaps. Support is included for palettes, memory files, multipage files, compressed files, comments, tags, animations, view perspectives, raw image data, compressed data, and alpha channel. Both low- and high-level functions are provided. These functions allow you to work with files in memory buffers or at offsets within disk files. |

The Leadtools.Codecs namespace provides support for File Formats.
File Format support also requires one or more LEAD File Format Filter WINMDs.
For example, Leadtools.Codecs.Bmp.winmd.
Each file filter winmd supports one or more file formats for import and export. Refer to the "Files To Be Included With Your Application" topic in the help file for more information about each file filter winmd.
