Returns the encryption mode (DES, 3DES, etc) for the cipher.
| Parameter | Description | 
| hNet | Handle to an existing DICOM Network. This is the handle returned from the L_DicomCreateNet function. | 
| cipher | Value that indicates the ciphersuite for which to get the encryption mode or algorithm. | 
Returns
A value that indicates the encryption mode or algorithm. Possible values are:
| Value | Meaning | 
| L_CRYPT_NONE | [0x00] No encryption. Returned if no secure connection is established. | 
| L_CRYPT_DES | [0x01] DES encryption. | 
| L_CRYPT_3DES | [0x02] 3DES encryption. | 
| L_CRYPT_RC4 | [0x03] RC4 encryption. | 
| L_CRYPT_RC2 | [0x04] RC2 encryption. | 
| L_CRYPT_IDEA | [0x05] International Data Encryption Algorithm. | 
| L_CRYPT_FORTEZZA | [0x06] Fortezza encryption. | 
Comments
There are several different cipher suites. Some of these differ only in encryption mode or algorithm.
