IltmmTargetFormats *pTargetFormats;	/* pointer to an interface */

Retrieves the index of the currently selected format.

Parameter	Description
pTargetFormats	Pointer to an IltmmTargetFormats interface.
pVal	Pointer to a variable that receives the zero based index of the currently selected format. A value of –1 indicates that no format is currently selected.

Returns

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

This function will return the index of the format that is currently being used by the collection’s parent object.
