C Syntax

HRESULT IltmmPlay_put_SourceStream(pPlay, pVal)

C++ Syntax

IltmmPlay *pPlay;

Sets the specified stream object as the media source.

Parameter

Description

pPlay

Pointer to an IltmmPlay interface.

pVal

Pointer to the stream object that generates the source media data.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

Any object, such as an ltmmMemory object, that implements IStream, can act as a media source.

This function sets the media data source to the stream object. The IltmmPlay::ResetSource function should be called to stop the play object from accessing the stream object. The source type will be set to ltmmPlay_Source_Stream.
