HRESULT ILMNetSnkConnection_get_Address(pCon, pVal)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT get_Address(pVal)

 

ILMNetSnkConnection * pCon;

/* pointer to an interface */

BSTR *pVal;

/* pointer to a string*/

Retrieves the IP address from which this connection originated.

Parameter

Description

pCon

Pointer to an ILMNetSnkConnection interface.

pVal

Pointer to a character string to be updated with the IP address from which this connection originated. Restrictions to specific IP addresses can be added using functions from the ILMNetSnk interface.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

If the function succeeds, the user is responsible for freeing the retrieved address string by calling SysFreeString.
