Retrieves the number of strings for the specified language block.

Parameter

Description

pDVD

Pointer to an IltmmDVDControl interface.

Index

Language block from which to retrieve the number of strings.

pStrings

Pointer to a variable updated with the total number of strings in the language block.

Returns

S_OK

The function ran successfully.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

Before calling this function, determine the total number of language blocks available by calling IltmmDVDControl::get_DVDTextNumberOfLanguages. Based on the value obtained from IltmmDVDControl::get_DVDTextNumberOfLanguages, pass an appropriate index value for the Index parameter of this function, to retrieve the number of strings for the desired language block. For example, if the IltmmDVDControl::get_DVDTextNumberOfLanguages retrieves the value 4, then possible values for the Index parameter of this function is 0 © 3.
