Retrieves the video compressor Also known as an encoder Also known as compressor, this is a module or algorithm to compress data. Playing that data back requires a decompressor, or decoder., this is a module or algorithm to compress data. Parameter	Description
pConvert	Pointer to an IltmmConvert interface.
pVal	Pointer to a variable that receives the video compressor collection interface pointer.

Returns

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

The returned IltmmCompressors interface is used to enumerate registered video compressors, and to select a video compressor for the conversion process. See ltmmCompressors for details.

If the function succeeds, the user should release the returned interface pointer by calling the interface’s Release method.
