Selects the subtype at the specified index.

Parameter	Description
pCaptureSubTypes	Pointer to an IltmmCaptureSubTypes interface.
newVal	Zero based index of the subtype to be selected.

Returns

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

This function will select the specified subtype to be used by the collection’s parent object.

There must be a subtype set at all times.
