File Formats: Macintosh Pict Format (PCT)

Macintosh Pict (PCT) files are produced using Macintosh QuickDraw, and are used in desktop publishing and imaging applications.

PCT Vector files can be read and written as raster images in the non-vector toolkits. LEADTOOLS supports multiple page files when reading and writing PCT images as raster images.

File constants associated with this file format are:

Pct 1, 4, 8, 16, 24 BPP 1, 4, 8, 16, 24 BPP Macintosh QuickDraw

When PCT files are rasterized they are 24 BPP.
