Leadtools.Forms Namespace > LogicalSize Structure : Inequality Operator

size1
The first LogicalSize to be used in the comparison.
size2
The second LogicalSize to be used in the comparison.
Specifies whether this LogicalSize does not contain the same width, height, or unit as the specified Object.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Operator <>( _
   ByVal size1 As LogicalSize, _
   ByVal size2 As LogicalSize _
) As Boolean
C#
public bool operator !=(
   LogicalSize size1,
   LogicalSize size2
)
C++/CLI
public:
bool operator !=(
   LogicalSize size1,
   LogicalSize size2
)

Parameters

size1
The first LogicalSize to be used in the comparison.
size2
The second LogicalSize to be used in the comparison.

Return Value

true if the two LogicalSize do not have the same width, height, and unit of measurement; otherwise, false.

Example

This example compares two size structures.

Visual BasicCopy Code
Public Sub LogicalSize_OperatorEquals()
   Dim inches As LogicalSize = New LogicalSize(1.5F, 2f, LogicalUnit.Inch)
   Dim pixels As LogicalSize = New LogicalSize(inches.ToSizeF(150,150))
   Dim s As String

   ' should say true
   s = String.Format("Should say True: inches == pixels is {0}", inches = pixels)
   MessageBox.Show(s)

   ' should say false
   s = String.Format("Should say False: inches != pixels is {0}", inches <> pixels)
   MessageBox.Show(s)
End Sub
C#Copy Code
public void LogicalSize_OperatorEquals()

   LogicalSize inches = new LogicalSize(1.5F, 2f, LogicalUnit.Inch);
   LogicalSize pixels = new LogicalSize(inches.ToSizeF(150,150));
   string s;

   // should say true
   s = string.Format("Should say True: inches == pixels is {0}", inches == pixels);
   MessageBox.Show(s);

   // should say false
   s = string.Format("Should say False: inches != pixels is {0}", inches != pixels);
   MessageBox.Show(s);
}

Remarks

If the two sizes have different units, comparison will be done after temporarily converting both to a common unit.
