size
The amount to inflate the copy of the rectangle.
Creates and returns an inflated copy of the specified AnnRectangle structure. The copy is inflated by the specified amount. The original rectangle remains unmodified.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Overloads Public Shared Function Inflate( _
   ByVal rc As AnnRectangle, _
   ByVal size As AnnSize _
) As AnnRectangle
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim rc As AnnRectangle
Dim size As AnnSize
Dim value As AnnRectangle

value = AnnRectangle.Inflate(rc, size)
C#
public static AnnRectangle Inflate(
   AnnRectangle rc,
   AnnSize size
)
C++/CLI
public:
static AnnRectangle Inflate(
   AnnRectangle rc,
   AnnSize size
)

Parameters

rc
The AnnRectangle to be copied. This rectangle is not modified.
size
The amount to inflate the copy of the rectangle.

Return Value

The inflated AnnRectangle structure.

Remarks

This method inflates this rectangle, not a copy of it. The inflation along an axis is in two directions (minus direction and plus direction). For example, if a 50 by 50 rectangle is inflated by 50 in the x-axis, the resulting rectangle will be 150 units long (the original 50, plus the 50 in the minus direction, and plus the 50 in the plus direction). The rectangle's geometric center is maintained.

If either size.Width or size.Height is negative, the AnnRectangle is deflated in the corresponding direction.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 family, Windows Server 2008 family
