How the ItemSelectedForeground value is used to draw the items depends on the current ViewStyle. The following table lists all the cases:

ViewStyle	Description
ImageListViewStyle.Normal	Fills the background of the items.
ImageListViewStyle.Explorer	Draws the text of items as well as a rectangle around the image of items.
ImageListViewStyle.Button	Not used.
