Leadtools.Dicom Namespace > DicomPrintScu Class : FreeAnnotationBoxesInstanceUids Method

Frees the memory allocated for storing the SOP Instance UIDs of the Basic Annotation Box SOP Instances created by the Print SCP when a Film Box is created.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Sub FreeAnnotationBoxesInstanceUids()
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As DicomPrintScu

instance.FreeAnnotationBoxesInstanceUids()
C#
public void FreeAnnotationBoxesInstanceUids()
Managed Extensions for C++
public: void FreeAnnotationBoxesInstanceUids();
C++/CLI
public:
void FreeAnnotationBoxesInstanceUids();

Example

For an example, refer to Associate.

Remarks

When the Print SCP is requested to create a Film Box, and if an Annotation Display Format ID is specified, the Print SCP will also create one or more Annotation Boxes, based on the Value of that Attribute. This is true given that the Basic Annotation Box SOP Class is supported on the Association. An array of the SOP Instance UIDs of these Annotation Boxes is kept internally. This method frees the memory allocated for that array.

Once this method is called, a call to the method GetAnnotationBoxesCount will return 0. This of course does not mean that no Annotation Boxes are referenced by the current Film Box.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows Server 2003 family
