LEADTOOLS eMail features provide support for connecting directly to Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) servers (Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) is not required) to allow you to quickly add to your application the ability to:

$image\sqrblit.jpg$ Use the LOGIN mechanism (ESMTP servers) or the USER/PASS mechanism for authentication
