Internet Files To Be Included With Your Application

The installation procedure creates a directory tree for the LEADTOOLS files, and adds the demonstration programs and online help to your desktop. You specify the root directory during installation. The following subdirectory for the Internet features is created:

The LEADTOOLS Internet features require Microsoft DirectShow 6.0 for the Internet functionality and it requires Winsock 2.0 for the Internet functionality. You will be given the opportunity to install one, both or neither of these during installation. If you do not install these during installation, you may install them later using the DirectShow 6.0 Installation and the Winsock 2.0 Installation under LEADTOOLS 14.5 ActiveXs Registration.

Note: The Internet features are provided for evaluation purposes only. You may not copy or redistribute any of the following files without obtaining the proper license. In some cases, the license is included with your initial purchase of LEADTOOLS. In other cases, you must obtain a license from a third party or enter into a royalty agreement with LEAD to obtain the proper license. For these special licensing situations, see the notes below accompanying the specific file.

The following table summarizes the files you must include on your distribution diskettes to support the LEADTOOLS Internet features functions on a WIN32 system. (\REDIST\VIDEO subdirectory contains copies of these files.)
