Builder Syntax

int __fastcall SetShortValue(Cardinal uCount);

Delphi Syntax

function SetShortValue(uCount: Cardinal): Integer;

Overview

Refer to Working with Data Sets.

Remarks

Sets the specified number of short values from the ShortValues property into the item specified by the CurrentElement property.

Before calling this method, set the ShortValueCount property to the number of values you wish to set, and then fill the ShortValues property with the desired values.

If more than one value is stored in the Value Field of the Data Element, you must set all values at the same time.

If uCount is greater than the ShortValueCount property, an error is returned.

This method overwrites the values associated with the item specified by the CurrentElement property.

This function can be called only if the Value Representation of the Data Element is VR_OW, VR_SS, or VR_US. For more information about Value Representations, refer to Default Value Representation Table.
