Value

Meaning

1

Do not use font anti-aliasing.

2

Use 2-bit font anti-aliasing.

4

Use 4-bit font anti-aliasing.

Aliasing is the effect on all pixel devices where diagonal and curved lines have a zigzag appearance. As pixels get larger, this effect becomes more noticeable. Anti-aliasing refers to methods designed to decrease or eliminate this effect. Shading the pixels along the borders of the affected lines does this.

Font anti-aliasing slows down the drawing of the resulting bitmap.

Font anti-aliasing can only be used if the PDFDisplayDepth property is set to 8 or greater.

This property is valid only if OptionsFileType property contains one of the PDF formats:

FILE_RAS_PDF, FILE_RAS_PDF_G3_1D, FILE_RAS_PDF_G3_2D, FILE_RAS_PDF_G4, FILE_RAS_PDF_JPEG, FILE_RAS_PDF_JPEG_422, FILE_RAS_PDF_JPEG_411
