Can I move Eprint 5 license to another computer?

Hi,

I need to replace the computer that my license of eprint 5 is currently installed.

Is this possible and, if so, what is the procedure please?

Hello,
You must deactivate your license from the old computer before installing it on the new one. You can do that by uninstall (remove NOT repair) your ePrint 5 from the old computer while connecting to the Internet. After that, you can install the ePrint 5 on the new computer and do the online activation while it's connected to the Internet.

If you can't access the old computer, please open an email ticket and include link to this post.

Thanks for the advice.

Removing eprint5 on the old computer didn't give problems.

However, when I used the "LEADTOOLS eprint 5 Professional Activation wizard" on the new computer, it couldn't perform the process via Internet and reverted to Manual Activation. This created a file called itmacode.txt, that I sent to eprintsupport@leadtools.com.

I'll wait for the Activation Code to arrive via email and then continue.

If I have to use a different procedure, please let me know.

You are right, this is the correct procedure. We will wait for your email to be able to let you activate it on the new machine. If you didn't send it yet, please include a link to this forum post.
