To order or ask questions about licensing:
A development license is required for each programmer installing and developing with LEADTOOLS.
Each development license includes a license to develop one end-user application.
A Deployment License must also be purchased for this LEADTOOLS SDK. (See Deployment License tab above)

Applications developed using this LEADTOOLS product require deployment licenses for both internal and commercial deployment. LEAD offers per desktop, per concurrent user, and per server licensing models. Pricing for desktop and concurrent user licenses are shown in the table below.
* A minimum of one (1) deployment license must be purchased along with the Development License purchase.

A “Server Deployment” means the customer has installed the application on a server, website, network device or hardware device that is intended for use by multiple users. Server Deployments are typically for applications operated as a process (as opposed to by a person), primarily intended to operate in batch mode, involved in high volume processing with minimal or no user interaction, or intended for multiple users and/or other applications to access the features and capabilities of the application. (e.g. installation of the application on a networked MFP device or a web server). A computer installation designed to service multiple unnamed users, and not a single named user or set of concurrent named users, such as a kiosk, requires a Server deployment license.
LEAD offers a variety of server license options based on the production level of the server, whether the server is being sold commercially or used internally, monthly processing through-put and/or whether the customer is generating revenue from services that are being hosted by the server (SaaS model).
Please contact oemsales@leadtools.com for the pricing options for server deployments.
