HRESULT IltmmDVDControl_SelectParentalCountry(pDVD, Country, Userame, Password)

C++ Syntax

HRESULT SelectParentalCountry(Country, Userame, Password)

BSTR Username;

BSTR Password;

/* password */

Sets the ISO 3166 country/region settings for the DirectX DVD Navigator filter.

Parameter

Description

pDVD

Pointer to an IltmmDVDControl interface.

Country

The ISO 3166 country/region code settings to set for the DVD Navigator.

Username

Currently, not used. Pass NULL.

Password

Currently, not used. Pass NULL.

Returns

S_OK

The function ran successfully.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

The country /region codes are used for interpreting parental access levels and setting default languages.

Call IltmmDVDControl::get_PlayerParentalCountry to retrieve the current parental country/region code.
