Translate Method (AnnObject)

Show in webframe

The x value by which to translate the System.Windows.UIElement.RenderTransform matrix.
The y value by which to translate the System.Windows.UIElement.RenderTransform matrix.
Translates the transformation matrix of this AnnObject by the specified values.
Syntax
public virtual void Translate(
   double dx,
   double dy
)
'Declaration

Public Overridable Sub Translate( _
   ByVal dx As Double, _
   ByVal dy As Double _
)
'Usage

Dim instance As AnnObject
Dim dx As Double
Dim dy As Double

instance.Translate(dx, dy)

public:
virtual void Translate(
   double dx,
   double dy
)

Parameters

dx
The x value by which to translate the System.Windows.UIElement.RenderTransform matrix.
dy
The y value by which to translate the System.Windows.UIElement.RenderTransform matrix.
Remarks

If the object implements auto transformation (TransformMode returns AnnTransformMode.Auto), the logical coordinates of the object do not change when this method is called. Instead, the Transform matrix is updated and the effect is only applied when transforming the object to physical space (e.g. when drawing or hit-testing the object).

If the object implements point transformation (TransformMode returns AnnTransformMode.Points), the logical coordinates of the object might change when this method is called. The exact behavior depends upon the object's implementation of the GetTransformPoints and SetTransformPoints methods.
