The protractor annotation object (
AnnProtractorObject) consists of two simple lines joined at a vertex to create an angle. With the automated functions, the first line of the protractor is started on a mouse-down event and completed on a second mouse-down event. The second line is completed on a third mouse-down event.
In the automation mode, it is possible to calibrate a ruler so it displays a specific length. For more information, refer to

An object can be part of a group annotation object or part of a container object. It cannot be part of both a group and a container at the same time. The
Container property and the
Group property, both inherited from the
AnnObject class, contain information on the container or the group to which the object belongs.
