Leadtools.Windows.Annotations Namespace > AnnObjectBase Class : Translate Method

dx
The x value by which to translate the RenderTransform matrix.
dy
The y value by which to translate the RenderTransform matrix.
dx
The x value by which to translate the RenderTransform matrix.
dy
The y value by which to translate the RenderTransform matrix.
Translates the transformation matrix of this AnnObjectBase by the specified values.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Overridable Sub Translate( _
   ByVal dx As Double, _
   ByVal dy As Double _
)
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As AnnObjectBase
Dim dx As Double
Dim dy As Double

instance.Translate(dx, dy)
C#
public virtual void Translate(
   double dx,
   double dy
)
C++/CLI
public:
virtual void Translate(
   double dx,
   double dy
)

Parameters

dx
The x value by which to translate the RenderTransform matrix.
dy
The y value by which to translate the RenderTransform matrix.

Example

For C#/VB examples, refer to AnnObjectBase.Origin.

Remarks

If the object implements auto transformation (AnnObjectBase.TransformObjectMode returns AnnTransformObjectMode.Auto), the logical coordinates of the object do not change when this method is called. Instead, the Transform matrix is updated and the effect is only applied when transforming the object to physical space (e.g. when drawing or hit-testing the object).

If the object implements point transformation (AnnObjectBase.TransformObjectMode returns AnnTransformObjectMode.Points), the logical coordinates of the object might change when this method is called. The exact behavor depends upon the object's implementation of the AnnObjectBase.GetTransformPoints and AnnObjectBase.SetTransformPoints methods.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2003 family
