Leadtools.Windows.Annotations Namespace > AnnObjectBase Class : Rotate Method

angle
The angle (extent) of the rotation in degrees.
origin
A Point structure that represents the center of the rotation.
angle
The angle (extent) of the rotation in degrees.
origin
A Point structure that represents the center of the rotation.
Rotates the transformation matrix of this AnnObjectBase around a point.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Overridable Sub Rotate( _
   ByVal angle As Double, _
   ByVal origin As Point _
)
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As AnnObjectBase
Dim angle As Double
Dim origin As Point

instance.Rotate(angle, origin)
C#
public virtual void Rotate(
   double angle,
   Point origin
)
C++/CLI
public:
virtual void Rotate(
   double angle,
   Point origin
)

Parameters

angle
The angle (extent) of the rotation in degrees.
origin
A Point structure that represents the center of the rotation.

Example

For C#/VB examples, refer to AnnObjectBase.Origin.

Remarks

If the object implements auto transformation (AnnObjectBase.TransformObjectMode returns .Auto), the logical coordinates of the object do not change when this method is called. Instead, the RenderTransform transform is updated and the effect is only applied when transforming the object to physical space (e.g. when drawing or hit-testing the object).

If the object implements point transformation (AnnObjectBase.TransformObjectMode returns .Points), the logical coordinates of the object might change when this method is called. The exact behavor depends upon the object's implementation of the AnnObjectBase.GetTransformPoints and the AnnObjectBase.SetTransformPoints methods.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2003 family
