OptimizeBuffer(RasterCodecs,IntPtr,Int64,ImageOptimizerOptions,ImageOptimizerProgress) Method
See Also  Example
Leadtools.ImageOptimization Namespace > ImageOptimizer Class > OptimizeBuffer Method : OptimizeBuffer(RasterCodecs,IntPtr,Int64,ImageOptimizerOptions,ImageOptimizerProgress) Method

codecs
The RasterCodecs object used internally in the optimization operation.
buffer
The original image buffer in memory as IntPtr array. The image format in memory should be one of the following supported formats:
length
The size, in bytes, of the buffer parameter in memory.
options
The options used in the optimization process.
progressCallback
Optional callback function that provides information about the progress of the optimization process.
Optimizes a supported image format buffer using the passed optimization options.

Syntax

   ByVal length As Long, _
   ByVal options As ImageOptimizerOptions, _
   ByVal progressCallback As ImageOptimizerProgress _
) As RasterNativeBuffer
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As ImageOptimizer
Dim codecs As RasterCodecs
Dim buffer As IntPtr
Dim length As Long
Dim options As ImageOptimizerOptions
Dim progressCallback As ImageOptimizerProgress
Dim value As RasterNativeBuffer

value = instance.OptimizeBuffer(codecs, buffer, length, options, progressCallback)

Parameters

Return Value

A RasterNativeBuffer structure that contains the image optimized buffer in memory.

Example

This example will optimize a Png image file and then save it to a separate folder
