Leadtools.Codecs Namespace > CodecsJpeg2000SaveOptions Class : DecompositionLevels Property

Gets or sets the number of resolution levels in the compressed file.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Property DecompositionLevels As Integer
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As CodecsJpeg2000SaveOptions
Dim value As Integer

instance.DecompositionLevels = value

value = instance.DecompositionLevels
C#
public int DecompositionLevels {get; set;}
C++/CLI
public:
property int DecompositionLevels {
   int get();
   void set (int value);
}

Return Value

The number of resolution levels in the compressed file.

Example

For an example, refer to CodecsJpeg2000Options.

Remarks

The maximum number of levels depends on the size of the image. Passing values that are too large will cause the save operation to fail. Each resolution level is one-half the size of the previous resolution, in both dimensions (width and height), starting with the full image resolution. The resolutions are not stored independently, and do not have a major impact on the compression results. The default value is 5, which produces the best compression ratios in most cases.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 family, Windows Server 2008 family
