Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Overridable Property UseRotateControlPoints As Boolean
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code

Dim value As Boolean

instance.UseRotateControlPoints = value

value = instance.UseRotateControlPoints
C#
public virtual bool UseRotateControlPoints {get; set;}
C++/CLI
public:
virtual property bool UseRotateControlPoints {
   bool get();
   void set (bool value);
}

Return Value

Example

This example toggles the use of the rotate control points.

Visual BasicCopy Code
Public Sub AnnEditDesigner_UseRotateControlPoints(ByVal editDesigner As AnnEditDesigner)
   editDesigner.UseRotateControlPoints = Not editDesigner.UseRotateControlPoints
   Dim s As String = String.Format("UseRotateControlPoints changed to {0}", editDesigner.UseRotateControlPoints)
   MessageBox.Show(s)
End Sub
C#Copy Code
public void AnnEditDesigner_UseRotateControlPoints(AnnEditDesigner editDesigner)

   editDesigner.UseRotateControlPoints = !editDesigner.UseRotateControlPoints;
   string s = String.Format("UseRotateControlPoints changed to {0}", editDesigner.UseRotateControlPoints);
   MessageBox.Show(s);
}

Remarks

For more control over rotating an AnnObject or a AnnGroupObject in design mode with an AnnEditDesigner, set this property to true. This allows the user to precisely control the rotate center, as well as the rotate angle, by moving the rotate control points. Setting this property to false uses the older rotate user interface.
