
LEADTOOLS V17 integration with Visual Studio 2010
LEAD Technologies, a Visual Studio Industry Partner, plans to simultaneously ship LEADTOOLS Document, Recognition, Document Enterprise, Medical and PACS Imaging v17 with Visual Studio 2010. In addition to their respective advanced imaging technologies such as support for more than 150 formats, annotation, OCR, forms recognition, medical image processing, DICOM, and PACS functionality, these LEADTOOLS V17 products will include a completely new native Silverlight development interface. This new LEADTOOLS Silverlight offering will allow developers to extend LEADTOOLS advanced imaging functionality into their Silverlight applications for cross platform deployment.
A Preview of the Silverlight Portion of LEADTOOLS V17 - LEAD has posted online demos that preview a portion of LEADTOOLS version 17. Version 17 will be released simultaneously with Visual Studio 2010 and will include native Silverlight binaries. Features previewed include extended file format support (TIFF, GIF, JPEG2000, JPEG, and more), automated annotations, image processing, hardware accelerated pixel shaders, and create, load, view, edit, and save DICOM datasets.
