LEADTOOLS Internet Products
Overview
Internet enabled ActiveX and small COM
objects, .NET Web Services, Client/Server support,
remote image processing, reduced distribution requirements,
HTTP/FTP functionality and much more.
The Internet has made possible a new
paradigm of application development and application
distribution. The advance of more and more organizations
subscribing to broadband connections has opened doors
to possibilities that only a couple of years ago were
considered impossible or impractical. LEAD offers
several LEADTOOLS Imaging Development products with
varying degrees of Internet support.
All of the above include an HTTP control to develop
HTTP client applications, an FTP control to develop
FTP client applications and an INET control to send
and receive commands to and from remote computers
via a TCP/IP connection. Most products include COM
objects for use in CAB files without the extra overhead
required by ActiveX controls.

for Progressive JPEG, Progressive CMP, and interlaced
GIF - Display images as they are downloaded.

- Includes transparency, animation, and embedded
text. The GIF code has support for 1 through 8
bits per pixel files.

A FeedLoad function
is included to allow image data to be displayed
as it is being received from the net, providing
Internet programmers with the fastest way to begin
painting the client’s screen.

VBScript, JavaScript, and ASP/VBScript are
included to assist you in incorporating images
into Internet and server-side applications.
