LEADTOOLS Web Services include a wide range of tools including image file conversion (150+ file formats including JPEG2000, PDF, CMW, and DICOM), image processing, OCR support, document image clean up functions and 12-16 bit grayscale support to name a few.

Because these features are offered as web services, they can be accessed by any development environment that supports web services utilizing HTTP Get, HTTP Post or SOAP requests and responses, including Visual Studio .NET for Windows Forms and ASP.NET and Java. Better yet, because no DLL's are required to be installed on the client's computer and all of the processing is done on LEAD's server, applications based on the LEADTOOLS Web Services can be used on any operating system and processor platform, and support various file formats like bmp, gif, jpg, jpg2000, pcx, png, tif and any of the other file formats that LEADTOOLS supports.
