Viewer Controls Use LEAD's custom controls when working with images in XAML based applications

LEAD has created several custom controls for working with images in XMAL based applications. The ImageList control lets you display lists of thumbnail images and is available with all the products, but the Express version is scaled down. Two different image viewer controls allow you to view over 150 LEADTOOLS-supported file formats in the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).

Image Viewers

• BitmapSource Viewer supports displaying a WPF BitmapSource object. Is available with LEADTOOLS for WPF and LEADTOOLS for WPF Express.  The version with Express is scaled down.
• RasterImage Viewer supports displaying either a BitmapSource object or a LEADTOOLS RasterImage object, as well as built-in support for loading and saving image files. Is only available with Raster Imaging Pro and up.

Image Lists

The ImageList control lets you display lists of thumbnail images in several pre-defined styles, or in your own defined style. As with image lists, backgrounds, borders, and scrollbars are also customizeable. This control is available with with all products, but the LEADTOOLS WPF for Express is scaled down.

Image Pan Windows

Image pan windows allow users to keep track of where they are when you must display large images in small spaces. Users can navigate though large images by dragging the image, sliding image scrollbars, or dragging the pan window selector box.

Magnifying Glass

Any image displayed with these controls - including the image area captured by the magnifying glass -- can then be enhanced with image effects or otherwise manipulated with interactive user interface tools.

Supported Environments LEADTOOLS Viewer Controls come are available in Win32 and x64 editions can support development of software applications for any of the following environments.

• Windows Vista
• Windows XP
• Windows Server 2003

Note that in order for a WPF application to run, Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0 must installed. Internet Explorer 7 can auto-detect whether Framework is installed under certain conditions. For more information, refer to Deploying a WPF Application (LINK)
