LEADTOOLS OCR Service Overview

The LEADTOOLS OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Web Service supports a wide range of image file formats for input and output. The WSDL documentation contains the list of input and output formats.

Simply use the LEADTOOLS File Service to upload images to the remote server then call the Recognize method of the LEADTOOLS OCR Web Service to convert your images to any of the text, document, spreadsheet and database formats supported by the LEADTOOLS OCR Web Service including PDF. Add the power of the LEADTOOLS Image Service for image pre-processing such as clean-up and you have a powerful and flexible OCR SDK.

You can choose to have this web service hosted by LEAD Technologies, or you may purchase the Web Service itself to have it hosted on an Internet Service Provider that supports the hosting of .NET web services.
