proprietary alternative compression algorithms including:
LEAD CMW
LEAD's CMW format uses Wavelet CMP compression.
Currently, 24-bit color images and 8, 12 and 16-bit grayscale
images are supported in this format. LEAD CMW compression
offers the best image quality while attaining the smallest
compressed image sizes and is highly recommended for use
on Pocket PC devices.
