| Description: |
Displays an image rotation dialog with available options and before and after thumbnails.
Use the Rotate dialog to rotate an image around
its center.
There are two modes available when rotating an
image, with and without resize. Resize refers to
the canvas size, as the size of the actual image
contents remains unchanged. This means that a line
in the original image that is 100 pixels long will
still be 100 pixels long in the rotated image,
although it’s direction will have changed.
If you rotate without resize, the canvas size remains
unchanged, so the corners of the original image
may get clipped away when they get rotated off
the original canvas. Rotating with resize will
increase the canvas size to prevent the clipping
of image corners.
The Rotate dialog
box allows you to set the angle of rotation, resample
method, background
fill color and the option to resize the
canvas to accommodate the rotated image. |
