Document/Medical Support and Licensing Requirements

Document/Medical Licensing and Royalty Agreements:

Congratulations! You have licensed one of the LEADTOOLS Imaging software products, the most comprehensive imaging toolkits on the market, enabling you to create powerful imaging applications. The license terms for LEADTOOLS Document Imaging, LEADTOOLS Document Imaging Suite, LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging and LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging Suite require runtime licensing based on the number of copies of your application that you deploy (i.e., distribute or install and use internally).

By paying the initial price for the applicable LEADTOOLS product, you have obtained a development license, which entitles you to develop your application and test it. Once completed, if you wish to distribute the application or deploy it internally on multiple machines, you are required to enter into a duplication and distribution agreement with LEAD. You have the ability to choose from several licensing options depending on your volume needs.

The product you are installing is a fully functional working version and includes support for all features in LEADTOOLS Document Imaging, LEADTOOLS Document Imaging Suite, LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging and LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging Suite. (Depending on which product you have licensed, some of the features may ultimately not be available to you. See the on-line help file for a product feature comparison.) Until you sign and return the correct licensing agreement, your application will display a "nag" message. Once LEAD receives the executed contract, we will provide you a password that will permit you to terminate the "nag" message for the product that you have licensed. In addition to providing the password, you must also use the no nag version of the LTKRN DLL, found in the Redist\NoNag directory. This is also the version you must redistribute.
